Galadriel (Lo Hobbit) by Skylark6277 Galadriel (Lo Hobbit) by Skylark6277
"A sister they had, Galadriel, most beautiful of all the house of Finw; her hair was lit with gold as though it had caught in a mesh the radiance of Laurelin." - J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion

P.S.
I slighty modified the face, because I didn't like the first version of it (she looked more like Tilda Swinton than Cate Blanchett). Now she doesn't look at all like Cate Blanchett, but she looks more like my idea of Galadriel. Hope you like it anyway :)

She's beautiful! I love how you did hair hair and the folds in her dress. The hem of the dress are very well done!

Absolutely beautiful! The soft shading of the dress and the glow give this work such a magical atmosphere.

There was a long discussion somewhere on the net, where people were seriously asking where Galadriel and crew went to the toilet in Lothlorien. If they had toilet paper, if they used leaves and other such life practicalities. Some suggested that maybe due to their diet, they don't make too much of a mess, but are rather neat, depositing dry pellets...

But the primary question was the question of storage or removal, since you know, they lived very high up in the trees, and uhh...it's a long way down - and yeah, you know how people are, there were a ton of jokes about that and how when one is walking down on the ground one would be frequently shat upon.

There never was an answer to how they got rid of the waste, in a natural, efficient and elvish manner, befitting of the high elves. (Because of course they did not use our technology nor our crude vision within their society).

At the end of it all, I came to the insightful conclusion that Lothlorien must be the origin of the long-drop.

Haha. I've never really thought about it, but now that I do I think that they have chamber pots that servants have to carry to the ground and empty somewhere ;)
